My MF 50 was a LP setup, but was converted to gasoline. I believe everything else is OEM. The ignition switch has three prongs, an I, L and a third not marked or at least I cannot see one. A I&T manual shows a four prong switch. I am assuming that the electrical diagram for gasoline and LP engines is the same with a difference on the diesel engines. I also have a different voltage regulator on the engine than that shown on the diagram. Bottom line is, the engine starts and runs, but the ammeter does not work. Ammeter is new, just not sure if the generator is working or the meter is not conected correctly.
