MF 35 hydraulics

I'm not a MF guy. Where do you add hydraulic oil and check the level on a 1955 MF 35? Does the same oil serve the trans, rear end and hydraulics? Thanks. Jon

Hi Jon,
If the age of the tractor is correct it would have been a 'Ferguson' not a Massey Ferguson.
The dipstick for the combined rear housing and gearbox is located in the right hand round side cover on the centre casing.

Immediately to the left of the main gear lever is a large plug. This is the fill point for the transmission and centre casing oil.
