Have a MF 2200 with Continental. Worked great, then when using it it stopped moving when pushing either the forward or reverse pedal. Looks like all linkage is ok. Throttles up when pushed. Wont go in any gear. Also, what is the lever under the seat on left side of case? Thanks!!

Just a thought,; I have a MF30E with shuttle(Pedal) Drive. Every once in a while, it would not move either forward or backward. I checked the Archives and it turns out you follow the pedal linkage up to the pivot point where it enters the transmission and using a vise-grips, working it back and forth, freed it up. It had a grease fitting and still froze up. So even though your moving the pedal down below, there may be NO movement in the tranny. Also check fluid level. Good Luck!

Sounds as if your main drive"shear" coupler has
broken. To check look in the left round cover of
the diff. hsg. You will need to drain a bit of
oil or tilt the tractor so that left side is a
bit higher. The coupler has a grooved ring that
will shear. If so simply align the coupler with
the front short piece of shaft and the pair will
come out easily. No need to split. The trans fluid
is seperate and the check-fill plug is right in
the gap between the running board and the housing
and I can't remember which side. Your manual will
show. Chuck
