M/F 202 PTO

my brother"s 202 massey ferguson, after cutting grass for 10 or 15 minutes the PTO slows down and the tractor stops. disengage the pto and the tractor moves normally. Is this a clutch problem or possibly something bad in the the pto drive line?
Removed the top plate over the pump and PTO, to see if there was anything broken. No bits and pieces. Bob

Have you tried to remove the implement (grass cutter) and see if your PTO is working. If it is working fine then probably you have a problem in your cutter.
Or else it can be the clutch system.

The PTO does turn when the mower deck is disconnected. This is a replacement deck he got last year so maybe it could be the cause. I"m sure not looking forward to a clutch change. thanks for the info.
