hyd pistion lift

This is what I did on my 150 to operate my top link cylinder. You will need a diverter valve to replace the stand pipe cover and a closed center 4-way valve. This setup will NOT run both the 3-point lift and aux. cylinder at the same time. You must Divert the oil to the 4-way valve to operate an aux. cylinder.

It could be open center if he wants the aux. cylinder to float.

I used the closed center (a and b ports blocked) to hold the
piston in position. The P port is to tank in center position.

Respectfully, Tom

how did you get a close center valve to work without causing the relief valve to open each time the remote valve goes to neutral

See my answer below, If it was a true closed center (all ports blocked) it would also work by moving 3 point lever out of constant pumping, (lowering lift arms). I rebuilt the lift cylinder and it will hold the five foot box blade in position with oil diverted to top link cylinder. Sure saves a lot of time and climbing off tractor to set blade angle.
