I need help on how reassemble unit on a M>H 55 with a hand clutch. What are the tricks to keeping the throughout bearing and links from falling out when you reassemble the unit to the flywheel?? any help would be appreciated. Thanks H

I believe that you need to reinstall the shaft into the flywheel first.
That is not the usual method, but that will work.
The bearing at the end of the flywheel housing is not so tight on the shaft, so it is feasible.
I got a 55 Hand cluthc too, but I have to convert it to foot clutch because parts are impossible to find for the hand clutch version. So mine will be a hand and foot clutch, because I will just drill a hole in the foot pedal to allow using the hand lever.

Thanks for the tip. Here is the other problem. How do you hold the springs down when you flip the that plate over onto the main assembly?? and getter all to work?? This all started because there was no cover over the timing hole and the mice packet it full off cherry bit and mouse crap. Thanks again
