MF 290 Oil Change

Hey guys I want to do an oil change on my 290 Diesel and cannot find my operators manual. How many quarts of oil do I need? What filter? My Grandfather, who passed away, has a lot of "Shell Rotela" for diesel engines stocked away so perhaps this is okay?

Can anyone give me a capacity? I have looked up and down the net and cannot find an oil capacity for this thing.

Just put in 3 quarts, check stick, put in 4th, check stick, and so on. Works perfectly. Tom
