mf 40 industrial ROPS

Hello, I have an MF40 industrial that I would like to fit an ROPS structure to. Quite honestly, more for the sun/rain shade and a place to mount lights, than the actual protection.... however I was curious if anyone had plans to build one. I am a pretty good welder and was planning on building my own, based on the picture in the link below, however I have seen what seems to be the same thing on more than a few tractors, curious if it was offered by someone. I'm sure that it will be more expensive than I am willing to spend, but maybe not. Either way, dimensional drawings would make fabbing it up far easier.

thanks in advance

I made 1 for my 205 industrial and just made it about a foot higher than the top of my head when sitting in the seat. I used 2" square tubing because I only wanted it so I could put a canopy on to keep the sun off my old head. Maybe I can get a pic of it if you want to see it.

My Mf40 already have the pockets for the ROPS. Just place 2in square tubing in there and figure out what you need for head room, connect them with a box and you are done. I will do mine this summer if I keep it.

Damn, mine doesn't. I work on a ship, and consequently have access to stick, mig and tig welders, sadly not at home though. I do have a stick welder, but no torch or a real good bench to fab stuff on.

I just made the pieces to mount the square tubing to the side of my loader, and will do just what you say. It would be nice to have the actual plans.

Anyhow, thanks every one for the help
