There is a lady by the name of Josephine Roberts in Snowdonia,North Wales, she writes articles for the Farm Collector magazine.
I wuz wondering if you knew her?

Jo also writes articles for the Tractor Heritage mag here in the UK. Just as a matter of intrest tractor mags are called Shiney Comics here in the UK. MJ.

Hello Harvey,
No, I don't know her. Essentially Nort Wales is around 170 miles from me. I contribute regularly to the UK magazine 'Classic Tractor' and am the 'resident MF technical expert@ (Editor's words not mine). I suspect that the content and focus of the magazines will be very different.
As to the 'Shiny Comics' its not a term that I have heard before and to be honest I would be very annoyed to think that the magazines that I and a lot of other people put a lot of effort into contributing to would be referred to by that derogatory name.

Hi David
Where are you in south wales if you don't mind me asking, I came from Cardigan west wales, before I moved to Manitoba Canada in 2000.
I get the classic tractor sent over here every month. Been buying it from the start and still have all the old copy's in my reference library of useful information.
Regards Robert

Hi Robert,
Nice to hear that 'CT' is getting further afield.
I live in Bridgend in South Wales about 85 miles from Cardigan.
Most of the MF technical issues in 'CT' over the last 3 years or so will have been done me or I will have been involved in them.

Regards
DavidP

Hi David, nice to see you support Classic Tractor. Been a friend of Rory Day for many years and see quite a lot of him during the rally season and Newark Tractor Show. Sorry to offend but my shiney comic remark was a aimed at Tractor and Machinery because for many years now their articles allways seem to have faults in them. MJ
