MF 1085

I have a 1085 with a busted motor can any one tell me if that paticulare motor . was put on any other equipment . thanks

Yes, MF 540 combine had the 318 also. Have one to part out but may use the engine for another project.

combine motors by perkins will NOT be quite right

the 318 is on 285's as well as 1080 and 1085's

the combine blocks are not supported like the tractor blocks over time they bust because of the stress webbing is not in a combine block.... the tractors front end is held by the block so to save money Perkins cheapend the combine blocks.

it will work for a while... just be ware!
