Hi More than one person can comment on a forum and not every body will have a rose tinted glasses vision of certain tractors ! I have worked and done a fair bit of different things with tractors in shops, wrecking yards, and on farms driving them and selling a few too. Also I have asked a lot of questions around when I was thinking of buying a tractor. Or even seen what is going on in the back at more than one color dealership when talking to mechanics.

"ALL" tractors can and do have there own problems that's why dealers have Workshops. They are not to just service and PDI new stuff!. The last tractor I bought was a Valtra valmet. There are a lot of guys have them round us and beat the heck out of them. They are doing better than some of the other colors for the abuse they get. yes there can even be problems with them too. The price used made better sense for less hours than a 10.000hr something else that was 5 years older Funny thing is Agco just stopped importing new ones to North America They want to push the Massey with the valtra (sisu) motors in. There are a few guys don't want a Massey or Deutz, and are pretty mad about it round us. I was talking to the local Agco dealer this week, He told me exactly the same thing.
All I can say is when buying a tractor you have to pick your color and options, pay the price you can afford and hope it's a good one and lasts a few years before you trade it or start piling money into repairs.
I have my views and you have yours Im gonna say, Lets leave it alone and call it quits before we have a falling out between our 2 different opinions, and wreck this board for the others.
I hope you have a good day.
Regards Robert
