have bad continental engine no f226 where can i get rebuild parts or better yet what other type of gas engine would bolt straight in any information would be helpfull as the engine starts and runs good but knocks and do not know how long it would last it is for personal use only thanks

Hi Dennis, We used to sell those new.Tough units.
I don't have any advice but have owners man and
parts book, reas. if that would help in any way.

You could try searching A&I Products parts pages on line. in the industrial equipment listings. I was looking for parts for a Perkins motor for an MF 2500 forklift. That's basically built on an MF 2135 industrial tractor and there is a continental gas motor listed there and for a gas tractor in the ag section. The 135 tractor had it too as an option to a perkins engine. Dont know if its the one you have but might be worth checking out. Napa parts stores might have jobber parts to, but probably won't be cheap .
