Will a PTO lever cover from a 175 interchange with a 265?

Ok, in my quest to gather up all the parts to put the auxiliary pump back in my 175 I have hit some real road blocks. My 175 originally had a manifold that the lines go into at the bottom of the PTO lever cover. The manifold is obsolete from Massey and I believe the lines are too. I know the later 175 and early 265"s used the same cover and manifold set up. Later 265"s had a different cover and lines which eliminated the manifold set up. This set up is a little easier to find. Will the cover from the later 265 fit my 175? I have the pump, the plates and gears, and all the original external controls are still there. I just need the lines and the matching cover. Also the line that runs to the cooler in the front, is the cooler really needed? My local dealer is telling me no. He said there were later Massey auxiliary pump set ups that just dumped the hydraulic oil back inside the case. There was no cooler. What is your thoughts on this? Thanks for your help.
