MF 50 jumpy 3 point lift.

1964 MF 50. Just changed the trans oil with GL 1 from Napa. Removed and cleaned the brass hyd strainer. cycled the lift several times but still jumpy on raising up cycle. What to look for? Thanks Jim.

Usually points to two problems with-in the pump.
These can be broken pump piston rings and/or exhaust valves sticking or not seating properly.
Pump needs to be removed and stripped to repair.

Could be the draft control lever too high, try moving it while its jumping.

Thanks for the replies. I have yet to put a load on the lift arms, just raising and lowering to purge the air in the system. Will try the draft control position with a tool on the arms. Thanks, Jim.
