On my 33, I tapped into the ports on the side of the cylinder control, and that worked just fine for me, BUT.. I have saw where guys have used the "top" port, and one on the side.. I don't know that there is a "right" way.. I can take a picture of mine and post it, if you'd like.. As for the hoses being hard to hook up, you will have that when they are under pressure... BUT... A friend of mine is a parts man for a C-IH dealer, and he now buys female fittings that are easy to connect under pressure.. They are a bit pricey, but after seeing how they work, I'm going to invest in a couple sets of them.. I can try to get you a part number if you'd like also. Brad
