I"ve got a small leak in power steering hose,it was rubbing against starter. Can I put a splice in it or is their a repair kit? Can I go to a hydraulic shop and get another hose or does it have come from Massey thanks

Not sure that the fittings are available to just get a hose made up, you might have to try and splice. There is a 202 power steering post here from last week or so, have a look at it. There is something unique about the angle of the fittings. Certainly the best way to go would be a new hose but I'm not sure that is an option.

Are you talking about the lines going to the cylinder? They are pressure hoses. Too much pressure for a hose clamp type splice. They are a tight bend where they attach to cylinder. I doubt if a hose shop could duplicate exactly. We bought new ones from Agco a couple of years ago. They were available at that time. Not cheap but they fit correctly.

The hose is the one that comes from the bottom of the power steering pump going to the steering under the dash ,what kind of pressure does this run at?
