MF 50-202 ENGINE SWAP

i have a MF202 tractor with a z134 engine that has a rod sticking out of the block. i also have several MF 50"s with the Z134 engine. is it a direct swap to change the engines from the 50"s to the 202? or are there differences that require alterations? (flywheel, clutch, linkage, etc??) thanks for your help

Umph. An older- pre MF150 ag 50, not a later industrial 50 right? More than maybe.
First glance, the steering is different enough, that will have to get changed out. front end-pivot housing? basket? 'might be fine, but not at the column. Flywheels ,clutches, again a maybe. Is the 202 a single stage like mine? And does the 50- most likely, have a 2 stage? Then even the flywheels will have to get swapped. I am in the process of doing the exact same thing, most of the story is in the fergie forum, from Christmas. And like you, I have a dead 50, and hopeless diesel 35- and a soon to be rebuilt z134 from a 202... not a dead end, not a big extra expense, but kinda confusing. Best to tear the 202 all appart, and a 50, lay it all out around the yard...and hope for the best...
