Hi chaps.
Been reading for a while, and now finally registered.

I require some help.
I have a MF35 and need to replace the distributor drive gear with the offset dog teeth, it has hammered away and they are wafer thin.

Rest of dist is in good condition, and I dont want to have to buy a new one.

Can anyone help me/ point me in the right direction to find one, I am located in Australia.

Kicking myself now for not being able to keep all my old odds and ends when I had a workshop, im sure I had a few in those box's somewhere, and my auto elec friends have laughed at me saying dizzys havnt been around in 15 years :).

Cheers

Hi Trains,
I'm in Qld, and can supply you with a good used gear. Give me a ring on 0417 601585 and leave a message, and we'll get it sorted out for you,
regards Evan.

Just an update.

Thanks to Masseynut Au, I was able to track and source said item.
Turns out I have a MF35 Delux as it has the tach/ hr meter.
Tractor runs quite well now :).

Once some freeplay is removed from the govener arm/ carby linkage, it will be running sweet.
Is there an oversize pin available, or do you just rebuild the linkage with weld and redrill the hole ?

cheers
