Tony that is great idea with spare carb.I only have the one tractor, this is the first tractor I have driven let alone having to rebuild it.I can see how you could want more!!! It would be really handy to have one complete for refernce. I probly should have looked closer at this one before buying but I did'nt know what to look for, Now I know more and got to rebuild first motor, amazing how these things work.My wife laughs cause also learning to type and computer!!!

Don't worry, whatever you paid for it, that is a nice 202. But I wouldn't let the dog drive it too far. All the new engine work AND rebuilt carb will only make you chase your tail (like the dog) alot longer than if one or the other was adjust well beforehand? But sometimes you get lucky!
Ya know help don't have to be fergie people, if you know anyone who tears into or even tunes up their own old fashioned engines, car, truck, other brand tractors- even lawnmowers eh! 2 heads are better than one, and since there is a long reach from starter switch to dist rotor or carb screws, an extra guy woking on the engine will be a world of help,
Hey it sounds like you are enjoying the job, while learning something valuable, while entertaining your wife... while teaching a houndog to drive.... yep, you're doin' OK...
did you post the pic of the dog on here? massey guys need to see that....
