Quick disconnect loader attach and remove procedure

I have a 165 with a quick disconnect loader. Does anyone have the official directions for installing and removing it?

Not sure of what model it is. Can someone asks tell me where to find the ID plate if the is one.

I know that newer units have a kind of kick stand built onto them that allows the unit to free stand and you drive the tractor under it and then secure it.

Mine has a cross beam under the engine/trans joint with a receiver on each side. The loader has a spring-loaded lever on the bottom of each leg that when lowered slides a pin down into a hole inside each receiver. There are also two support brackets mounted on the side of the front end that slides into "c" brackets are on the loader. These brackets are closed on the back.

Its seems to me that when removing/installing the loader I will need to hang or support it from above. Not what I'd consider quick. There must be a better way that I can't see.

How do others do it?

Hi, It looks like a model 236 to me. The s/n plate is located on left hand arm of main frame.
I have an extra manual here but don't post pics
but they are definitely easy and you do not need
to support from the top. The main frame rolls
fwd and is the support. Find the model and s/n
plate first. Chuck

I have a similar loader on a 184-4. Mine is a model 236. According to the manual, No additional support is nessecary. The procedure is laid out w/ photos. Try external_link.

Thanks Dave
As per Chuck's recommendation I ordered a manual. Big $13 dollar investment. Sure cheaper than the support structure I had in mind that I thought I would have to build......

One more beer on my tab for the group....
