Fogive me for posting this on this Forum as well as the Ferguson Fourm.
I have bought a MF 35-Government tractor several months ago and would like to find out some history of this tractor as well as other early MF tractors that were used in the military. The editor of the Ferguson Furrows, Judy Kitson and I are trying to find enough info on these tractor to write some articles in an upcoming issue of the Furrows. From the parts book of this tractor I know that there were 167 made for the government. My tractor has decals and a brass plate on it with the following information:

It also has a bar code from the UM Amhurst so I am thinking that it was originally sold in one of the Air Force Bases in NY or MA.

This is the info on the tractor:

Registration USAF 63D1567
F.E 2835 1974 0334
REMS INVENTORY
There is a large brass plaque with the date of purchase, engine # manufacture, etc
Corps of Engineers US ARMY
NOM Tractor Wheeled Industrial Pneumatic Tires GED
3725 5175 DBP
Stock NO FSN 2420-050-8648
Contract NO PO NO 88-A 49976
Purchase Date 10-63

If anyone could provide infor on this tractor or anyothers please email me directly or post here.
Thank you
