CAV Injection pumps

So, I know there are ways to mount a bosch pump on the 354 perkins motors, but does anyone have any info on getting more fuel out of the little rotary CAV pump? I would like to make a massey 6 cyl run decent and do some dirt pulling, but sticking an inline pump on is frowned upon unfortunately....

You did not say what version of the 354 you are talking about. Have you looked over on the Oliver site? A few guys on there right now working on turning up some 354 Perkins engines

As I recall you open the side cover on the pump, there is a nut that you loosen, then slide a slotted plate. Can't remember much more, its been years since I've played with a cav.

What is DPA # you want to play with, need to know so size of plungers can be found. Pump may have too small plunger size to gain much. If you can call 574 eight nine three four one seven two after 7 PM. Leave message if no answer, I will call back. Have both MF tractor and injection pump experiance.
