In cold weather my MF135 doesn't want to turn left.

It will turn full lock to the right but only about 5 degrees to the left. It will gradually loosen up but it takes a long time when it is 25 degrees below freezing.

I am thinking some old grease in the steering box is impeding the quadrant when cold.

Any ideas!

Everyone already gave you the proper advice.

I am just being funny, but maybe it was a UPS truck in a past life?

same trouble right now with my 165, forgot to put the steering cap back on the middle of the steering wheel, now i have to remove the steering box, open it and clean it all, adjust it to specs with new seals, and reinstall, it does just like yours, turn only good to the right, not the left, when I needed the tractor I used an heat gun to warm the steering box.

Make 3 rights, and you end up going left! Just kidding, like the other fella said, check for ice in the steering gear.

Just go places that are to the right. I had an uncle that only took right hand turns. Would go miles out of his way to make just right hand turns, so can you!
Yep, H2O in the fluid. Got a heated garage or something? Park it in there awhile, try the steering, if it works in there, leave it in there, drain the system and refill with fresh stuff. Keep warm up there!

Water frozen in the worm gear. Heat it up, clean it out. I was able to take a plate off, siphon the watery gunk out with a bulb suction and a piece of surgical tube.
