Massey Harris 55 diesel no fuel

Just picked up a 55 diesel with the inline Bosch pump. It hasn't run in approx 5 years but it was running when it was parked. Have lots of fuel everywhere right up to the fuel injectin pump. But no fuel coming out of the pump at the injector lines. Either I'm not getting the fuel bled correctly or else there's something stuck in the injection pump. What could I check next? What's the best way to bleed them? I have been towing it around in gear quite a bit but still getting nothing.
Thanx

The pump is probably stuck inside from setting. You may be able to free it up by pouring hot water over it and gently tapping it while cranking the engine. I have had this work before but you may end up having the pump rebuilt.

Check shut-off lever on side of pump.It may be stuck in the shut down position. My brothers was stuck when he bought it.If it is be very careful when trying to loosen it up.They break very easy.He used a good penatrating fluid and lots of patience and got it to free up.

You can remove the plate under the 4 injector lines, on the left side of the pump.
Then you can see if the delivery rack is moving when you move the accelerator. If the delivery rack don;t move, try to unstuckwith a small hammer and a screw driver and apply a lot of penetrating oil and use emery clothes to clean the rust.

Hope this helps!

The problem could also be that the check valve for the return line is stuck open.
