MF 35 Perkins Air Filter Option

Is there an air filter option for a MF 35 with a Perkins Diesel? I would like to replace the stock air filter with one that has a paper filter.
 
Is there a reason for replacing the oil bath assembly? These have been proven to be a more efficient unit than the "dry" element assemblies. Oil bath assemblies can literally work without servicing until your engine "starves" for air, without dusting the engine. Try doing that with the later type. If your service procedure leaves a little to be desired, you won't get away with that using the paper assemblies,

Masseynut, thanks for your thoughts. I had read elsewhere that the oil filters are not as effective as paper. In addition it currently has an unsual air filter system, it is not the original air filter cannister. It is a horizontal cannister that extends out the right side of the hood(bonnet) and has a paper filter. There are no part numbers on the current air filter and I have not been able to determine where I can get a replacement filter. Also, I would prefer to replace the current air filter with one that is the original position. Maybe my best option is to buy a new stock unit. Thanks for your advice.
 
I get the drift you do not have an old fashioned oil bath filter, but a dry element horizontal cannister? In that case, go to the blue column on the left of the screen, up on top is 'tractor parts', go to Massey, then 135, fuel, there are 3 choices, I believe they all will fit in your cannister.
 
The oil bath filter is far superior to the paper element type. The industry changed due to costs.

It sounds like your 35 has already been changed over to the 135 type. I once had a 61 Perkins 35 with a 135 filter.

Failure to service the oil bath filter regularly allows water to condense in the oil cup which will eventually cause corrosion pin holes. Not uncommon.
