Old Massey Harris?

How can I find out what year of Massey Harris
tractor is? I have numbers off the chassis that are
like 76339GM2 or 763396V2? Any suggestions? Thanks

Many MH's had the serial number also stamped on top of the transmission. It would be stamped just to the rear of where your left foot would rest while operating it. Do a little scraping. It usually has the model letters along with the serial number. Post a picture if you can. How many cylinders is the engine? Flathead or overhead valves?

I know the engine was replaced with a 92 Chevy but I don"t know about the transmition. I will have to look. Thanks
