Ready to remove the lift cover on my 31. I took a pic of the linkage thru the inspection port. First time posting a photo hope it works. Was wondering if I just have to take out the roller or anything else before I lift it?
The other pic is of my primary tractor. He plows all day and doesnt use a single drop of petrol.

Thanks
Eric

And maybe put an elastic band around the little plunger to the right and fix it down to something so it doesn't fall out when you overturn the lift cover.

Thanks for the quick responses. Do you just spread the fork apart to get the roller to drop out? Also I gather the valve on the right will come out with the cover?
Thanks

Yes just spread the forks slightly, there is no great pressure on them. The little dashpot plunger does come out with the rest of the linkage, but the plunger can drop out, simply put an elastic band around something lower down and hook it up over the little bolt on the plunger.
