There's a 1957 FE40 gas for sale nearby, priced reasonably but I'm not familiar with the FE. I have a TO35 which is dependable and for which I can find parts. Is the FE an oddball or would it be something worth looking at? Is it the same continental engine?

I've got a horse farm and most of my tractor chores are light duty.

I own and fe35 gas with the standard engine and depending on what parts will be needed as to availability. For fun go to parts on left and find fe40. Not there, next step find what size engine it is 80mm, 85, 87? Now try and find another one with same size as yours, tea 20, maybe those parts fit. Then on to ebay to international sellers. You may find the shipping is the same as cost for part. But they do run STRONG!!

There is no such thing as an FE40!...Has to be a 35 or an F-40. The top picture is an FE35 also available in red and grey the bottom pic is an F-40.
Hope that helps.....Sam
