| 150's have the same engine(s)transmission(s) rear end, and hydraulics as a 135. They have a longer wheel base due to a heavier (in weight and strength) front axle/steering bolster. With that axle arrangement, the 150 has better power steering and does NOT use the axle radius rods common to 135's. The 150 has a slightly larger radiator, bigger fuel tank, different location (and type) of air filter, as well as having standard equipment that is essentially the option list for 135's. (ie flat top fenders, float ride seat, full instrumentation, full lighting, PAVT rear wheels, The extra lenght and weight of a 150 makes for a much more stable platform with heavier implements on the 3-point hitch. Makes for a better loader tractor as well. 150's have mounting pads near mid point of chassis for a mid mount cultivator. Also, 150's were sold as a "high arch" model with 38" rear wheels and high clearance front axle. IMHO, the 150 is the best 40hp class utility tractor ever built. (I've got 2, had 3 3000 Fords, a 1530Deere and 454 and 484 IH's. 150 beats 'em all! |

| It's basically a scaled down 165 with 135 power train or a 135 with a heavier front end and steering. They were only made in the US but all the 100 series tractors used 9A serial numbers after 1967 so it's hard to say how many were made. |
