MH 44 Continental 260 Question

Is the 1948 Contintntal 260 a solid block, or is it sleeved? I drained the engine oil tonight, and approximately 1/2 to 3/4 gallon of water drained out. Haven"t removed the head or gasket yet. I appreciate any advice. Sapper

Wet Sleeves, would recommend pulling them before boiling block.

ya it's got sleeves and more then likely the O rings on the bottom of the sleeves are leaking drain oil and pull oil pan and look up and you will see very conman for a 70 year old tractor. working on one right now in the shop. guy that owns it spent a bunch on the top end because some one said it was the head gasket when i told him to check the sleeve o rings now i have it doing it right
