Massey 1100 split method

M.J. In OK

I've got a 66 Massey Ferguson 1100 that I need to split at
transmission & engine block. There are no bolt holes on the
side at the back of the motor, considering using a heavy
enough dolly and 8x8 cedar blocks stacked up to the bottom of
the pan, I was curious if anyone could tell me if the pan can
handle the weight it looks pretty thick but just not sure.

Thanks
Michael

The engine pan will handle the weight OK. Be sure to put chocks between the front axle and frame so the engine can't tilt when you split it. Take your time. Remember the 3 priorities: 1. Don't get hurt. 2. Don't break what ain't broke. 3. Fix what is broke.
