1155 and 1085

I have a Massey Ferguson 1085 as well as a 1155 with the V8 in it. The V8 is locked up and will need rebuilding. I also have a 1085 that is having some transmission issues and hydraulic issues. My question is.......will these perkins engines swap?. I would definetely have larger fuel tanks, a cat-3 three point, stronger hydraulics and would probably never have to worry about the engine being to stout for the trans. But is the motor enough to turn the transmission. I am pretty sure the RPM ranges are about the same, maybe a hundred or so RPM off so everything would be spinning about correctly, it has no cab and the wheels and tires are the same on the back. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!!!

If it would bolt up ok I think the 318 would be a good engine in there. Lots of low end torque.
