Can you tell me which of the lines going to the filter is the supply and which one is the return? I am adding a spin on oil filter. |

| Mike, I am thinking about leaving those lines plugged for startup so I can see any oil pressure issues without worrying about the new filter configuration. |

| I meant to say use a 1050 filter, it's larger than a 1051, I use the 1051's on my 30's. |

| The metal one towards the front of the engine is the supply, rubber one that comes out the bottom of the canister and dumps into the block towards the rear is the return. NAPA sells a spin on mount specifically for a by pass filter with 1/8 pipe fittings that will fit real nice, you can use the same supply and return lines, supply has to be re-bent some to fit, use a 1051 NAPA filter on it. |
