will a mf 150 gas 6 speed non multipower transmission fit my 175 6speed diesel with multi power? the housing of my 175 is cracked

Like stickwelder says, you would be better off atleast trying to weld it. I think they are 2 sizes appart, I doubt if anything will fit up or mate at all between these 2 models, either transmission.

i have a good 150 transmission massey's parts website says part #1861599m91 for 175 amd 1861599m92 for 150 so will cases interchange?

MF tractors are built to interchange, every engine they used bolts on to the same clutch bell housing, the same goes for the rear trans housing flange, even the heavy flange with the 3 bolts at the top will bolt to the old trans, albeit without a bolt or two. So the answer is yes your 150 gearbox will fit the 175 engine and the transmission housing... BUT.... the tractor will only do about 5 mph in top gear. The 135/150 has no epicyclic reduction gears at the end of the axles so it is a slow speed gearbox, the 165/175/185 etc had a high speed gearbox and reduction hubs on the axles to withstand the extra torque. It is common enough over here in N. Ireland to do the opposite swap...fit the high speed gearbox into the 135 rear end to get nearly 35- 40 mph!! as we do a lot of road work with our tractors.
So if you want to enter the slow tractor race fit the gearbox you have or else buy the 165 gearbox offered here....another option is to build the insides of your 175 box into your 150 box, not as bad as it may sound as I am ....nearly....sure you only need to change the two front drop down gears on the input shaft....Someone correct me if that is wrong....!
