Got a MF-35 question. I am usually on the Ford forum, but always wanted a Fergie or Massy Fergeson. Looking at an ad on a suspect MF-35, the guy says he is switching it 6v to 12v. The picture does not look like the 35's I've seen. He says it is a 3 speed. Did MF put out a few oddball tractors after their merger?? Is there a site out there with that data listed?? Not much available on tractordata. Thanks,I would appreciate any help I can get. |

| I think the 35's were 12 volt and should have 3 speed high/low with 2 shift levers. An older Ferguson might be 6 volt but only 3 speeds sounds more like a 9N Ford/Ferguson. Look in the pictures on here or google MF 35 and see if it looks the same. |

| As far as I know the 35's were all the "six speed", the later masseys had the option for multi power I believe, but they were all the six speed. The ad may be misleading saying is is only a 3 speed, but it will have a hi/lo shifter to make 6. These were all available as 6 or 12v, but I think most of the 6v ones were the Green and gray TO-35's (earlier models). |

| Thanks you guys, I have since discovered this tractor is actually a MasseyHarris 22. It's amazing what people will claim in their ad's. |
