I replaced the light switch in our 285 again this weekend. I can't remember if I switched it out last fall or the one before, but the new switches I'm getting from the dealer suck.
Anyone know where to get a good one anymore? I don't need one now, but probably will next year again...
Even the parts guy admitted that the new ones don't last anymore. They used to have to order them. Now they stock them.

| I had same problem with key switch(F-40) which has light switch combined. Some didn't work when I got it. Found a used original one and hadn't had any problem. The one from dealer looked similar but was lighter built. (China)!!!! Maybe you could find a salvage tractor. |
