USA vs UK models of MF-35

On occasion I have seen various comments about differences between the MF-35 model built in Detroit and the same model manufactured in Coventry England. Is there a list of the significant differences in the model based on where it was produced? Today I was doing brakes on a UK tractor and had ordered 830480M92. These are available from a number of sources, but only one states for US tractors only. Well they were right -the spring holes and shoe hold down pin holes were in wrong spot, plus the slot for the adjuster was 1/2" too long. I had to drill my own holes and grind down adjuster slot to make the shoes work. I would have liked to skip the extra fab work.

Yours is either the diesel or standard gas and both are hard to order for. Got one too and you need to read the fine print or else turn up with an oil filter and speedo cable for a deisel.

It is a diesel deluxe with the Perkins 3 cylinder diesel. The AGCO parts books don't seem to note any difference between US manufacture vs UK manufacture. It is a problem. I have ordered some parts from England put then they have to clear customs and pay some duty.

Hi Andy,
One difference that you have found in the shoes is the method of retaining them to the back plate. Whilst the same size UK TE20's had a bolt top and bottom with a large washer which allowed the shoe to move in a slot. UK 35's had the thin pin and spring arrangement.
Your 830480M92 does not appear to be a good number in the UK.
