To buy a Massey 65 or a 2135 turf?
Uses would be snow plowing, brush hogging, etc. nothing below grade to speak of.
Thanks! |

Well, many of the castings were from Coventry, the steeple is on them, but the Cont engine is from Detroit like all the others, and in US and maybe Canada they- I presume- were assembled in North America. They are very tough, if it wasn't abused, don't worry about needing parts. As for the 2135's, well just an industrial version of a 135, one of the most popular tractors on the planet. As long as it has the options you want, it is nowhere as powerful and bulletproof as the 65, but it not an oddball or obsolete at all.... as for all MF's... beware non running Perkins engines, spare parts are hit and miss..

[Tell me more about the 2135. The one I'm looking at has 9700 hrs on the tach. Of course it looks a bit rough, but most everything has potential!

Are parts hard to get for either one? The 65 was made in England according to tractor data.

Don't believe everything you read on tractordata. The 65 was also built in North America.

Too hard to choose. You will find jobs for both. So buy both. I have one of each.
