230 Water Pump Question

I took apart my 230 last weekend to start the water pump/radiator repair. Is the pulley pressed on the water pump shaft or does it come with a new pump? If pressed on any advice on removal and installation? Thanks in advance.

Oooopppps...Thinking about it, it may not come with the pulley, but on MF 135s (Cont. engine) they can be ordered that way. sorry for any inconvenience. Bobinva

Hello,
The pulley is pressed on and as Bob has said should come with a new pump. The position of the pulley on the shaft is important for belt alignment. If you should be overhauling a pump you will need a puller to remove the pulley after you have noted its exact position. You will also need a press to remove the bearing assembly and refit the impeller.
