MH44 Cracked Frame

The frame is cracked on my MH44, both sides. Can this be welded/repaired economically, or should I part out and scrap the tractor? Any ideas are appreciated.

There are lots of 33/44 series tractors in the boneyards. The front frames are all the same with the exception of the 44 standard which was shorter. Unless you know a good cast welder replacing the frame might be your only solution.

Dad welded the frame on Grandpa's 44 Special about 40 years ago and it held together fine, but he was also an expert welder.

Mine is cracked in the middle behind the steering gear. It has been that way for 40 years.

David. Is the frame on a 30 the same as on a 44??? Only reason I ask is that I have most of a 30 other then a #2 piston that blew up

It's the same shape, but shorter.
