In the UK MP is often avoided as it has had issues on higher hours tractors.
It is expensive (and or time consuming) to repair although if working correctly is a useful addition to the machine . The additional pump means a higher rate of hydraulic oil delivery too, which could be useful for some modern hydraulic equipment.That the tractor cannot be pull started in an emergency is a negative aspect as is it"s lack of engine braking in "low" especially if you live in steep hilly country. For most hobby owners it"s biggest advantage is higher road speeds. Personally I would want plain old working reliability and would avoid it.
