When i purchased my tractor 1 year ago the PTO didn't work (at time I didn't care). I used it only for disking food plots and I love it. I have since decided I want to fix the PTO because i need to do some bushogging. I remember the man who owned the 1130 before me said he SPLIT the tractor and REMOVED the PTO shaft because it started making a loud noise. (Im not sure if he meant the one in the bell housing or transmission)
My question is would everything still work such as; brakes, steering, hydrolics if he had removed this shaft? Because eveything works perfect excepct PTO.
Could anyone help me please because i am about to split the tractor in the next week. I just need to know where I need to start troubleshooting.. THANKS

| I think I'd pull the pto power pack off the rear and see if that's
the shaft he removed if its like my 1155 no hydraulics would
work if the shaft in the bell housing or trans was removed
