I found a rearend at local salvage yard--is a massey--has casting number of 7633962....what is it? a 44, 33, 30??? thanks. |

| LarryM, Do you know the code for these numbers? Ferguson tractors also have a number stamped on the top of the rear end. I have no idea what significance these nos have or how to interpret them. This information would be great for any Massey or Ferguson restorer, especially when combining different parts to make one tractor. Any thoughts would be welcome. |

| The serial number will be stamped on the top between the front and rear covers on the left side. It probably is covered with grease. |
