What do you guys think of this paint matching? This is a 1951 massey harris 44 and the paint is what is left of the original. It is located in the tub area right next to the engine so this is paint that has not seen light for sixty years and has spent most of those covered in grease and oil. I am posting this because the paint on the tractor appears to be slightly less orange than some of the massey harris paint jobs I have seen. I found a perfect match to the paint on the tractor however I realize that the original may have faded darker than it originally was over the years. Does anyone have experience with this? I look forward to your thoughts.

The color? Your going to love this. The new Massey Ferguson Red. 2008 or 2009 and newer. MF-50 at your local massey dealer. What goes around comes around.

That color red looks good! what brand and color is it?? I have been painting Masseys since the sixtys. Started out with genuine dealer paint and decals and still painting them. Massey Harris paint is kind of orange compared to Massey Ferguson. What do you plan to use for the straw yellow?? That is a very unique color and most is too dark.
