MF 85 gas, 3 pt is jumpy in a rhythmic way if that makes sense. The only time it stops is when the 3 pt cyl is turned off via the remote valve or if the 3 pt is all the way down. Its always had some 'vibration', but today much more pronounced. Has 10 gals. of new trans hyd. fluid, all new filters / sump screens. Any ideas? |

| | My mf50 does that also. I have not gotten into mine yet, but what I have been told is it could be that one half of the pump may not be working. Could it be in the valving? How long does your arms stay up after you shut the tractor off? Could it be the rings on the piston getting worn that makes it more pronounced? Good luck and let us know what you find. Steven

| This can also be caused by worn piston rings in the hydraulic pump |

| Does this 85 have the aux controls on it?? Just taking a guess but if it does there are valves that you adjust and doing so can make them work odd. Been working on a guys 85 that has 3 point and PTO problems and found that the aux control and the thumb valve on it can make thing do odd things |

| Yep, it does. Maybe it will work itself out, almost like air in a line somewhere. Thanks! |

| The one I have been working on has a 3 point problem and it does not come up with the 3 point control but I can make it go up with the aux controls so I know there is something not right but not sure what yet. Been waiting on the manual for 3 weeks now and the tractor dealer he ordered it from seems to have got lost as to what they where doing about it |
