I just purchased a Massey Harris that I think is a Massey 20. It is a tricycle type with 2 wheels in front. It also has a three point and a 4 cylinder Continental gas engine. I cannot find a name plate or a serial number where it is supposed to be located. There is a name plate on the engine but I cannot make out the numbers. Can anyone help me? I do not have the capability of sending a picture right now, but I might in the future. The tractor sure could use a new battery box if one is available. Any help would be appreciated. |

| Seem to recall the "20" used 32" rims with seven bolt hubs, while the "22" RC used 34" rims with 9 bolt hubs. |

| Also the 20 will have a 124 cu in(if a gas and not a low grade) and the 22 will have a 140 cu in and should be marked on the engine.Chuck |

| The serial number and model number will be stamped on top of the transmission case near the PTO lever and to the clutch pedal side of the tractor. The 22 should have a grill with flat horizontal bars like the 44. The 20 should have the sloped grill bars like the 101. |
