I know this is a stupid question, but where do u put the engine oil in at on a mf 175, diesel, is it on the left hand side of the engine block? i recently just attained the old tractor and trying to get it back in shape! |

| I have the Perkins engine. Just like the other guy said, oil fill is the rubber T-handle plug on left side near front of engine. |

| Yes, to what MF said. It will be on left side if sitting on tractor. Thats where it is on my 175. |

| Not real fam. with this one, BUT, "most" Perkins diesel have the oil filler toward the front of the engine, usually a "T" shaped handle with a big rubber piece to tighten up against. Called BigMarv1085 b/c he posted earlier that he has 3 of them. An Operators Manual comes in REAL handy on unfam. tractors. |
