Still trying to get the steering shaft and throttle bracket fixed on my 65. I'm just wondering what type of material to make my friction disc's out of for the throttle bracket(part #184507m1). Should I make them from cork or rubber??
Also,does anybody know where I can find the star washer (part #184150m2) that goes in the bracket too?? Ive searched the web and cant find anything.

| | Will - A couple of leather washers will work. Cut from the top of a pair of lineman's gloves, leather boot tops, even an old belt from your pants will work.

| Thanks guys, I'll try using one of my old belts. And Ill check on that star washer shortly too.
