| Hi, Massey Ferguson in the UK and France never made their own 4wd tractors. Roadless and Selene were the two main manufacturers of after market kits. However I do believe that a few tractors may have come out of Beauvais and Banner Lane with the 4wd kits fitted. Most were fitted on the dealer's premises. During the time of the 100 series production MF were promoting the Pressure Control system of weight transfer to the rear wheels. Four-wheel drive took off for the 60 to 80 HP tractors at that time and Pressure Control could not compete with it. In the UK the first 4wd tractors from MF were the 500 Series, 575, 590 and 595.
