Took the cab off my 31 and was looking for a set of fenders. Found flat tops to be pretty pricey. Came across a doa 203 at a local apple orchard. It had the clam shell fenders mounted to a round axle. They had some surface rust but no rot. In talking with the owner the orchard bought two new 203s in 1962. On one the motor recently locked up and the other was still working good. I bought the fenders and made a mount to fit the square axle on my 31 by using some scrap 2 inch square tubing as a spacer and bolt adapter. The tubing raised the fenders just the right hieght to clear the big meats on the 31. Sanded, primed and painted this weekend. Mounting them today.
